   TRANSMISSION SYSTEMS

  • Video transmission like Co-ax, twisted pair, fiber optics, microwave, RF etc.
  • Digital networks
  • Different methods for transmission of control signal
  • Power transmission systems
  • Adjustments, precautions and troubleshooting

DAY 3

 RECORDING SYSTEMS

  • HDD Drive, Interfaces, RAID
  • Different type of recording systems
  • Types, features and how to choose digital recorders
  • Adjustments, precautions and trouble shooting
  • Control Room Design
  • Video amplifiers etc.

IP SURVEILLANCE COMPONENTS

  • Software interaction with hardware
  • Step by Step configuration & Installation techniques
  • Video compression codecs (H 264, Mpeg codecs)
  • Video/Audio Compression – Bandwidth Budgeting/Planning
  • Storage Consideration ( Local and Cloud Storage)

 NETWORK CONFIGURATIONS FOR LANS, WANs

  • Crimping BNC, CAT5 & keystone connectors
  • Video transmission (analog to digital, megapixel cameras)
  • Configuring Power Distribution Unit (PDU)
  • Assembling a CCTV system Troubleshooting using CCTV tester
  • Mobile phone viewing configuration
  • Configuring domain name server (DNS)
  • Learning about different types of router

DAY 5

IP CAMERA INSTALLATION (IP INSTALLER FOR IP CAMERAS, PARAMETER SETTING)

  • Introduction to lenses and lens theory (Field of view, varifocal and fixed lenses)
  • Digital CCTV storage and lighting (DVR storage calculator, Illumination and camera sensitivity in CCTV)
  • PTZ camera installation (Protocols, baud rate in PTZ)
